Be bright, be bold, be YOU!
Hey friends – news just in! Community groups supported together with Armidale Regional Council are thrilled to invite YOU to the FIRST Pride in the Park!
This colour-filled event will be held on Friday 23 February from 3.00pm-7.00pm at Curtis Park. The aim of the game? To ensure our entire community feel included, seen and supported. Armidale is home to a diverse range of community groups (and boy are we here for it) – and this event is your chance to celebrate all that diversity in one fun-filled, safe space.
You can expect food trucks (because snacks are important), community stalls offering services that support the LGBTQIA+ community (because inclusion is key), live entertainment (including a DJ and Drag Queens Daphanie, Lucy Dream and the Drag Queen Duo), jumping castles, ninja inflatable course, arts and crafts (bring the kids!), a show-stopping Back Track Paws Up Dog Show (lock in 5pm for that one) all wrapped up in some strong community vibes.
So come along and let’s celebrate love, diversity and community together.
